During worship in Jerusalem (February 25 2001), I began having a picture unfold in my spirit. Just as Rick Riding began praying for greater unity and love in the body of Messiah here in Jerusalem and the nation. I began to see the hills of Jerusalem all as if I was looking through a blood red colored glass. I was looking from the north of the city southward. And as I looked closer I could see what looked like a giant letter V pounding down on Jerusalem everywhere. And I immediately understood this to be a constant buffering of a spirit of division. But it appeared that even though this spirit was buffeting the people in Jerusalem it could not get a strong hold.

 As I was looking at this scene it was as though the eyes with which I was looking began to draw back towards the north of the city. And now looking south from the most northern point of Jerusalem I saw this massive letter I standing bold and huge with great stature and power, it towered over all of Jerusalem and it's shadow covered much of the city. As I saw this I asked Lord what does this mean? And I began to see at the foot of this giant, I  letters that formed a word using the I as it's first letter. The word was Independence and I immediately understood this meant a spirit of Independence has a stronghold over the  body of Messiah in Jerusalem. Now looking at this picture with greater understanding, I asked the Lord how can we pray against this spirit of Independence. And as I asked that question in my spirit I began to see clouds form to the east and to the south of the city of Jerusalem.

 Then the storm clouds began to get darker and more violent in their behavior, at which point they started to  advance in the direction of Jerusalem. From the east and from the south and then from behind me from the north they swept over the city engulfing this giant letter  I, and the mountains of Jerusalem were covered by this great storm of dark clouds. then as the clouds slowly began to recede and I could see that the hills had been washed and the blood red color began to fade from her hills. And all of the independence of the people appeared to have been consumed and washed away, by the actions of this great storm. 

I feel the Lord is saying that a storm of troubles is coming upon the people and body of Messiah in Jerusalem. And that the Lord will use this time of troubles to break down the spirit of independence in the body of Messiah, and as a result the blood guilt of Jerusalem will be washed away by His river of living waters. not only will the church come free but will be used to lead the inhabitants of Jerusalem into being a clean and spotless bride for her soon returning Messiah Yeshua. What is interesting is that weeks later during a conversation with some people, I discovered that the place where I saw the giant sized letter I is a park called Independence park in central Jerusalem. I stand in awe of our God and pray Lord in your judgments remember mercy. Lord pour out your spirit over your children here in Jerusalem, and set us free from every spirit and sinful behavior that separates us from You and one another, in Yeshua's name.
