Hello Simantov

I have written this following short article to provoke both an interest to search the scriptures to understand Israel's current events as well as to ask for your continued prayer, as times are growing much more perilous and dangerous here in the land.

Many are thinking why on earth is there a civil war erupting now in Gaza and other parts of Israel. Most would think that with all the talk by the Israeli government that the creation of a Palestinian state on Israel's soil is close at hand. By the Palestinian's fighting each other at a time like this, they would be cutting off their nose to spite their face. Or is there a much more defined motive behind this civil war? Could it be that by cultivating this civil war in Gaza which is now spreading to Judea and Samaria, that Israeli's would allow the unthinkable of bringing in a multi-national U.N. military force? A U.N. force to control land we miraculously received from the Lord. These are some questions that observers are considering. Is it possible that this current situation could actually help Israeli's to finally come to the conclusion of, who wants all of this infighting, and why would we as a Jewish nation want to recapture this land just to inherit all of this murderous civil war and unrest? Could very well be that powers to be are allowing this escalation to create and nurture the thought amongst Israelis that a Palestinian state is inevitable.

In 1995 I was making a delivery in a mall in the west end of Toronto. I was a bit early, so I decided to take a walk through the mall and have a coffee. As I walked through the mall I noticed a display of books being set up for a clearance sale and took a quick look. I found one book with an interesting title "Gaza First". It was written by a journalist who was in attendance at most of the illegal Oslo meetings, which ultimately led to the so called Oslo accords. In these meetings the illegal Jewish delegation presented the idea and plan to create a Palestinian state, along with a plan to implement this terror state on Israel's God given land. This strategy very much included the idea of systematically surrendering Jewish land piece by piece beginning with "Jericho and Gaza first".

At the time this whole series of negations were not only illegal, but also presented an idea that the vast majority of Israeli's would have definitely opposed. So then how does an Israeli government (controlled by outside forces) change the Zionist ideology of a people who suffered and shed so much blood to defend their God given destiny to live in the promised land? That is the question that also needs to be asked as we evaluate all of the current events in Judea, Samaria and Gaza. Could it be possible that many of the past, current and future wars were some how a part of this plan, to erase the zeal of Zionism? Early this year one of the news headlines in Israel was that Olmert had actually "planned the second war in Lebanon". I have seen, heard and read much concerning these questions in the past ten years, and I definitely see a well devised plan being executed as each day passes by. Am I eluding to some kind of a conspiracy plan, that is under way in and around Israel? That is a question each person needs to conclude in their own research.

Scripture foretells of many events that will occur in the last days. And one verse that comes to mind is Revelation 13:17 "And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name." I began to think how on earth could this prophecy ever be implemented and apply to the whole world? And the only conclusion I could come to was that there would first have to be a global government that globally controlled the distribution of all items and services. Which led to the following idea that someone must actually begin the process over the course of time to erase the sovereignty of every nation (including Israel) so that global control can be implemented. Could it be that the E.U. and the U.N. are actually a part of a plan to globalize? To what degree will these forces go to implement their strategy, this is a question only the scriptures can answer accurately. A quick read of the verses preceding the one above tells us the architect of this plan and strategy is none other than the beast himself.

Some might be thinking, how does all this relate to the current civil war in Gaza and the coming wars with Syria, Lebanon, and Iran? It surely looks like through these past and coming wars, people are being worn down. Just last week the former head of the Jewish Agency and house speaker Avraham Burg basically renounced his Zionist stance saying that Zionism was a mistake ( click here ) and now holds France citizenship (of all places). There is much taking place to reshape the ideals and desire of Zionism. Yeshua himself warned us that the beast would one day rule with an iron fist from Jerusalem. How could it be that this city called by God's own name now become the global throne of an evil global government, an anti-messiah, anti-god kind of government? And how on earth will those who gave their lives sacrificially in the wars of independence give up and allow such a thing as the creation of a Palestinian state to be established in Israel. Not only this, but also we see scripture foretells that Jerusalem will one day serve as an international capital for a global government.

I could go on and on describing what the scriptures foretell for the times in which we currently live. But my objective in writing this short article was to provoke the body of Messiah to search the scriptures with these questions in mind, so as to grasp the time and season in which we live. Is it a time to begin to fear and allow anxiety to enter in? By no means at all. We live in a time the prophets of old longed to see. They understood that their great redemption (which is in) Jesus Christ would once again come to earth. To judge the wicked and embrace eternally those who are His. And as I once was shown by the Holy Spirit in a vision RAVISHED WITH LOVE FOR HIS BRIDE Yeshua longs to come for His Bride. There are many today waiting for His appearing, but there are still multitudes who have yet to come to know Him and His glory that must be invited.

The Lord has given us His word both written and living to direct the steps of His children (2 Timothy 2:15) and there is no question we live in a time of great prophetic fulfillment which will see the immanent return of Messiah. Please do watch and pray for the current circumstances here in Israel. That we could "live the life of another" and that person being Yeshua our Messiah. That out of all the current and coming tribulations that our love and reverence for our Savoir and God Yeshua would be increased and lead a multitude to know Him and worship Him for who He is!
